Radio Gals Directed by Brian Holderman (Radio Gals replaces The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas) A wonderful comedy set in Arkansas in the 20's, Hazel Hunt is a retired music teacher who is given a 500 watt radio transmitter for her retirement present from her students. She uses the transmitter to host her own radio show by jumping air waves. The show is co-hosted by her friends who all are characters themselves. The trouble begins when a gentleman, Mr. Abbot is sent to close down this operation. Hazel and her cohorts won't be bullied by him or the government that sent him. In fact they are able to persuade Mr. Abbot into singing a few songs on the program himself. These are tough little ladies and a fun time is had by all.
