'Dyin' To Be On Broadway' opens Friday
at CTC
The Buzz
The premise of the play revolves around Jerry, who always wanted to be a Broadway
performer. In the meantime, he toils as the lowly janitor for a local community
theater. That all changes, however, when he gets hit in the head by a stage
light and awakens in "Broadway Heaven."
The original show promises songs and scenes from many Broadway favorites.

Performers, led by Andy Duch (arms crossed), act out a scene during rehearsal of Chico Theater Company's "Dyin' To Be On Broadway." Back row: Aubry Bagshaw (from left), Jasmyn Seagraves, Granison Crawford. (Jason Halley/The Buzz)
